<p>Karonga is home to St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral, the cathedral church of the Diocese of Karonga. It sits in the far north of Malawi, near the shores of Lake Malawi — one of the great lakes of Africa. We have been twinned with Karonga since 2011.</p>
<h2>Our Partnership</h2>
<p>The Karonga link has grown steadily since 2011. Projects have included:</p>

<li>Support for schools in the diocese</li>
<li>Container shipments of goods and supplies</li>
<li>Exchange visits between Tonbridge and Karonga parishioners</li>

<h2>The Diocese of Karonga</h2>
<p>The Diocese of Karonga was established in 1986. It covers the northern tip of Malawi and is known for its beautiful lakeside setting and the warm welcome it extends to all visitors. The cathedral community is vibrant and deeply committed to the partnership with Tonbridge.</p>
